Teaching, Learning and Assessment
-Technology coaches assist teachers in using technology effectively for assessing student learning, differentiating instruction, and providing rigorous, relevant, and engaging learning experiences for all students. I have held the position of Technology Curriculum Leader at Fort Washington Elementary School for six years. Part of my duties as tech leader is to help my fellow colleagues with the integration of tech tools and resources. I have presented at several building level and district level inservice trainings. |
FWES Tech Bytes Workshop
As a part of my practicum work I had the assignment of hosting a technology workshop for teachers and administrators in my building. After discussing the assignment with my building principal, we decided to hold the session during our weekly grade level collaboration meetings. This format provided me with more one to one support in a small group setting. As a teacher myself, I took into consideration the overall moral and current workload of the staff in order create effective staff development that would engage and draw interest from my audience. My presentation consisted of a sharing of FREE web tools that would help organize and enrich their current instruction and everyday professional tasks. |

2011 Upper Dublin Tech Tasting
I presented a Top 10 Web 2.0 Tools workshop during a 2011 district inservice devoted to technology. The tech tasting was a half day event where teachers and staff were given a menu of tech workshops that they could choose to attend. |
